We Bring the Movie to YOU – We are a Mobile Production Service, Not a Physical Theater. MOO-V-Night is a 100% mobile production company. We bring the professional screens, pro-audio, and projection equipment directly to your park, school, or backyard. If you’re looking for a theater to visit tonight, we recommend checking local listings, but if you want to host your own private cinema event, you’re in the right place!
Booking Lead Time
Summer weekends and holidays fill up fast! We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance to secure your preferred night.
What is "Managed Production"?
Unlike standard rental companies that simply drop off equipment, MOO-V-Night provides a fully managed cinema production. This means the owner is on-site for the duration of the event to handle technical operations, manage the pre-show entertainment, and ensure a flawless experience for your community.
Who Runs the Event?
Trevor, the owner and lead projectionist, personally manages every event. You get expert service from someone invested in making your night a success.
Rain & Wind Policy
Safety first! The screens can’t operate in rain or winds over 15mph. I offer a Worry-Free Rain Date—if the weather looks bad, I’ll work with you to reschedule for the next available date.
Technical Requirements
Power: Two 15-amp circuits within 100 feet of the setup area.
Space: A flat, unobstructed area of approximately 25' x 25'
Surface: Screens can be set up on grass, turf, or pavement
Sponsors & Announcements
Absolutely! I can run a pre-show slideshow with sponsor logos, community ads, or "Happy Birthday" messages at no extra cost.
Do you provide the movie license?
Public screenings require a license. I can either guide you through the simple process of obtaining one from Swank Motion Pictures to keep your event legal or I can obtain it for you.
Can you help us pick a movie?
Absolutely. Whether you want a high-octane 80s throwback or a modern animated masterpiece, we can help you decide. We’re not just equipment providers, we love movies.
Movie Start Times
Movies start at "civil twilight"—usually about 15–20 minutes after sunset. This ensures the screen is bright and vivid.
Do you provide the popcorn?
We focus on the big screen and the booming audio, but we’re movie nerds at heart. For the ultimate 'Movie in the Park' experience, we can recommend a local vendors. (And yes, we have strong opinions on the best movie candy—ask Trevor during setup!)
